Jump around: dinner date

Last month I blogged about this 18 AND EAST Rose Print Jumpsuit which was on sale at Clothing at Tesco and I couldn't help but snap one up for myself. The print is so pretty and the jumpsuit shape is so easy to wear! It can work as a day look but also be dressed up for a relaxed evening look with a simple pair of heels, which is what I wore for a dinner date with the boyfriend:

I am wearing: Urban Outfitters watch; bangles from Next and various market stalls; "Love" bracelet from Accessorize; and hooped bracelet by TIA by Made.

What Was I Wearing: rainy days

Today I've gone for the androgynous look. You know those mornings when you know what you want to wear but the weather just isn't playing along? Well, today was one of those!! I had planned a cute dress with the brogues but then I looked out of the window... and it was raining! So jeans it was for me:

The t-shirt really didn't look right hanging out (like the slob that I am!!) so I tucked it in and was good to go!

I haven't worn a watch in years but when I saw this one for a fiver in Urban Outfitters I grabbed it. It's more like an extra bracelet to add to all of those that I was wearing at the time of purchase but I'm actually enjoying not having to get my phone out everytime I want to know the time - how old-fashioned?!

These are, of course, my bargainous Marks and Spencer brogues that I got last month. I think they work well with trousers that are rolled up and allow them to be seen in all of their glory, don't you? (The boyf calls them my "boy shoes"!)

What I Wore for Afternoon Tea

I know I haven't done many outfit posts recently but I had to show off my shiny new shoes on my trip for afternoon tea with my mum at the weekend, so for your viewing pleasure:

After tea, mum and I took a walk in the gardens by the teahouse - in the rain!!

I wore an Urban Outfitters top (reduced from £35 to £15), H&M jeans (£9.99) and Marks and Spencer Limited Collection brogues (reduced from £25 to £15!!).

I finished the outfit off with my Marc Jacobs bargain wish bone necklace.

My New Favourite Outfit. I Think!

Sad Sunday

It is the last day of the festive holidays before we go back to work. So the boyf and I went for a walk in the lovely (VERY cold) sunshine and to go for lunch. Very nice.


I am wearing my new black jumper dress from New Look, a Dorothy Perkins scarf (a Christmas present from mum), my faux fur coat (Christmas present from sis!), grey woolly Primark tights, an Urban Outfitters pendant and Primark OTK boots! With an M&S bag. (The sun was in my eyes!!)

An Ode to Urban Outfitters!

I love Urban Outfitters.

Just putting it out there.

I spend hours 'fantasy shopping' on UrbanOutfitters.co.uk. I could spend even longer.

I love the quirky items that it stocks.

I particularly love the jewellery. Jewellery is definitely my downfall and it is always a bit different in UO.

 I also love the unusual gifts they stock, like the range of Lomo cameras.

Everytime I walk into an Urban Outfitters store, it reminds me of New York. Happy times.

I bemoan the fact that there still isn't an Urban Outfitters in Cardiff. Please, UO open a lovely new sparkly store in Cardiff? Pretty please!!

In case you hadn't realised, I went to Urban Outfitters today. In Birmingham. I bought two gorgeous necklaces in their sale. Lovely.
