Style Challenge: Day 6

Tonight is dinner with the "in laws". Hannah had this beautiful red Limited Collection M&S dress in her wardrobe, still with the tags on! I love the colour and think it looks gorgeous on Han. Hope you like it too and have enjoyed my style challenge.

Style Challenge: Day 5

This is Hannah's off duty weekend gear (day off). Doesn't she look lovely and chilled in her Jack Wills trousers, Bronx boots, Primark vests and New Look cardigan? Vg.

Style Challenge: Day 4 Part 2

On Thursday night Hannah had dinner with friends. She asked me to put together an outfit which would be on trend but also relaxed for a night in. She is wearing, New Look skinny jeans, M&S wedges, a long sleeve white top and our favourite item, a military-inspired waistcoat which Hannah found in the kids section of George at Asda. Again, the waistcoat was an item that Hannah had bought and loved but had never know what to put it with. I LOVE it!

Style Challenge: Day 4

Another day and another work outfit. This time we decided to see if we could make black jeans work appropriate. I think we pulled this off. We teamed black New Look jeans with a shirt from Hannah's hols in Canada, M&S Autograph shoes, a New Look neckalce and a black patent Paul's Boutique handbag (lush!).

Style Challenge: Day 3 Part 2

Wednesday evening's outfit was for a trip to the cinema. It needed to be on trend but comfortable and relaxed too. Hannah loves leggings when she's going for an "off duty" look. I found this gorgeous blue M&S cardigan in her wardrobe which she apparently never wears, so I decided to use that. I teamed it with an M&S black vest, black Zara leggings and lush bargain blue suede slouch boots (less than a fiver from Peacocks!). The outfit is finished off with a New Look necklace. I love this outfit.

Style Challenge: Day 3

It's another day in the office for the lovely Hannah. Today she is wearing Jane Norman trousers, a shirt from her travels, a necklace from River Island and gorgeous leopard print shoes from Next.

Style Challenge: Day 2

Yesterday was the second day of the challenge. It was another work outfit, however it is meant to be a whole lot smarter. Hannah wanted me to incorporate her new Matalan pencil skirt. I teamed it with a Marks and Spencer Limited Collection top and bargainous shoes, originally from New Look but thrifted for less than a fiver! I then picked out the red in the top with a red bangle from Primark and a red bag.

Apologies for the late posting.

Style challenge: Day 1

Today's outfit was an experiment of taking a floral summer dress into winter and making it look seasonal. I'd like to think we achieved this!

Hannah is wearing a floral dress by New Look, dark grey ribbed wooly tights from Peacocks, tan heeled leather boots from Mango, a New Look grey boyfriend cardigan and a necklace from her boyfriend.

Style Challenge

My friend - Hannah - has two wardrobes bursting with clothes and yet rarely a week goes by when she doesn't complain to me that she has "nothing to wear"! So I have volunteered to style her for a week. She's going to tell me what her seven days will consist of and I will pick something appropriate out of her wardrobe. There's only one rule: she must wear what I chose. No arguments or tantrums!

I would describe Hannah's style as dressed up chic! She's a heels girl who loves to take her time making sure her hair and make-up are just right. She always looks "done"; something I envy as there are many mornings where I am left with barely enough time to throw some mascara on and dash out of the door.

In this challenge I don't want to do too much with Hannah's style, my aim really is to demonstrate to her that she does have many lovely things to wear in her bulging wardrobe, to maybe help her to love some of the items that she never wears and to prove to her that her style does rock!

This afternoon I spent a few hours in her closet, so-to-speak. We had a lot of fun. It was like having a huge dressing up box as a child.

Below are some photos from our afternoon of styling.

Check back each day this week for photos of the outfits that I have put together. Although I have to say now, that Hannah did a good job herself when we were putting the outfits together.

More soon. Love, SG
