Style Icon Update: Duchess of Cambridge (Kate Middleton)

Anyone else think that the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, looked fabulous and radiant when she attended the ARK Gala last night with her husband of just over a month? The Jenny Packman dress she chose for the event was beautifully intricate and understated:

Whilst the dress - with a price tag of over £2,000 - is probably out of most of our reach, the shoes she chose to accompany the dress are not. The gorgeous nude bow-embellished heels are by L.K. Bennett. I found them in black at John Lewis:

I'm just trying to figure out how I can justify adding this gorgeous pair to my already overflowing shoe racks - I know there must be a reason I need them!!

But this isn't the first time that Catherine has chosen L.K. Bennett shoes. The morning after her wedding, as she and William strolled across the lawns of Buckingham Palace to the awaiting helicopter, she was wearing a pair of L.K. Bennett wedges:
