Style Icon: Michelle Williams

When I saw the photo (below) from the Venice Film Festival in my copy of Grazia magazine this week, I knew immediately that Michelle Williams would be my Style Icon:

Michelle Williams has gone from the rebellious girl who caused heartache for all of the adolescent boys of Dawson's Creek to a beautiful woman with heartache all of her own.

After rising to fame in the teenage television series, Dawson's Creek, Michelle Williams has gone on to be a star of the big screen. Her performance in Brokeback Mountain earned her an Oscar nomination. It was whilst filming this film that Michelle met Heath Ledger, later her fiance and father to her daughter Matilda.

Since Ledger's untimely and sad death in 2008, Michelle Williams has rebuilt her life and is currently in Venice at the Film Festival promoting another new film.
