Style Icon: Twiggy

Twiggy became the first prominent teenage model at 16.

She was known for her large eyes, long eyelashes, and thin build.

In 1966, she was named the “The Face of 1966” by the Daily Express and voted British Woman of the Year.

She moved on to a successful acting career and later returned to modelling in 2005. She is currently one of the faces of the Marks and Spencer adverts.
